The plr-12r speed sensor is directly connected to the adhesive tape roller, which ensures reliable contact with the belt and eliminates the adverse impact of belt slip and other factors on the speed sensor.

The speed sensor is installed on the tail drum of the belt machine, the speed measuring drum with large diameter or the speed measuring roller. The speed measuring drum/roller is installed on the upper surface of the return journey belt to eliminate the influence caused by belt slip. When the belt is in operation, the speed sensor sends out a series of speed pulses, each pulse representing a unit length of the belt travel, and the pulse frequency is proportional to the belt speed. There is a unique soft connection between the speed sensor and the speed measuring drum. In normal operation, this connection mode avoids the sensor jitter caused by the previous axle sleeve hard connection, solves the hidden trouble that the speed sensor is not coaxial with the speed measuring drum when installed, and greatly reduces the damage of the speed measuring sensor.

The speed measuring device is equipped with a carbon-free brush pulse generator, which does not need any adjustment. It is installed in a solid cast-aluminum case, suitable for outdoor installation. Suitable for 0.1m/s--4m/s speed equipment.
